December Updates

The Child Benefit Fund is wrapping up a busy yet fulfilling holiday season. We recently completed passing out 96 food boxes to families in need. In addition, 52 families were adopted thanks to the support of our generous sponsors including Michael and Marcie Smolen, Verne and Carol Reed, Denise Lafave Smith, Michael Van Huysse, Cindy Mannon, LAFCU, Cameron Anstess, Mr. and Mrs. John Willoughby, and Judge Lisa McCormick. Seeing the joy on the faces of the youth and families when they receive their gifts truly reminds us of our mission to help. We cannot express how grateful we are to all of the individuals and organizations who contributed to make this our most successful year yet.

The Child Benefit Fund now turns our attention to the upcoming Soup Sale on February 5, 2026 and the Hippity Hop 5K on April 4, 2026. If you are interested in participating or assisting with either event, please reach out!
